Neuron Biopharma is committed to animal welfare and the humane use of animals in experiments.

 

  
We use as few animals as possible in our research and always try to use imaging techniques that do not require killing the animals involved. Neuron Biopharma is a member of the Spanish Network for the Development of Alternative Methods of Animal Experimentation (REMA). The company has a full list of standards for caring for and handling animals for experimental purposes (19 standards according to RD12001/2005; 6A, 9B, 2C and 2D).
 
  Neuron Biopharma staff members belong to the Spanish Society for Laboratory Animal Sciences (SECAL) and its research is always carried out at the Animal Experimentation and Production Service (SPEA) of the University of Granada, through a European Framework Agreement.
